EFRS Diploma in Radiography (Radiotherapy)
Based on a partnership between the European Board of Radiology (EBR) and the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS), we are pleased to inform you that a new examination sitting for the EFRS Diploma in Radiography (Radiotherapy)has been scheduled for June 10 2019, in London.

The examination is open to fully qualified radiographers who have completed their radiography education and training. Candidates must be officially recognised to practice in their country.


 










 









SPECIAL FEES for
EFRS affiliates and ESR members!
The registration fee for an EFRS Diploma in Radiography is €300 for candidates without an EFRS affiliation.

Candidates affiliated with an EFRS member society or EFRS educational institution will obtain a 50% discount on that fee (€150 registration fee), plus an additional discount of 20% for ESR members.

REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION
The following documents should be received by the EBR office before May 17 2019:

  • A proof of initial qualification in radiography indicating the duration of radiography education and the area of study (must be Radiotherapy), issued by your educational institution.

  • Confirmation that you are officially recognised to practice in your country based on your registered area of practice (if regulated in your country) or a proof provided by your current employing hospital/institution.

  • For discounted fees, a proof of your national radiography society membership or confirmation that you are a current postgraduate student or staff member in an EFRS Educational Wing Institution. A proof of current ESR membership for further discount.

  • A scanned copy of your passport.


Please note that completed documents should be provided in English and that candidates are responsible for the validity of all documents and application data.

The final decision on a candidate’s admission will be made by the EFRS on a case-by-case basis.


 










 
















EXAMINATION STRUCTURE
The examination will take place in a single, 90-minute sitting. This will test your knowledge of radiography in two components:

  • Part 1 (Core knowledge based on the EFRS EQF Level 6 Benchmarking Document) will make up the first 50% of the examination content.

  • Part 2 (Radiotherapy knowledge based on the EFRS EQF Level 6 Benchmarking Document) will make up the remaining 50% of examination content.


Each section will consist of: Multiple choice questions (MCQs), Multiple response questions (MRQs), and short answer questions (SAQs).
